Townhouse is coming to Edinburgh, Scotland and we are looking for an ambitious, skilled Nail Salon Manager to join us on this new journey!
Townhouse is the global leading luxury nail salon brand, reinventing the nail salon experience with luxury treatments in beautiful surroundings. Our salons have been featured on Made in Chelsea, in Vogue, Tatler, Glamour, Marie Claire, Sheerluxe and many more, with 40+ salons across the UK and Los Angeles. Founded by Juanita Huber-Millet, we are committed to raising the standard of the salon experience. With a focus on immaculate, bespoke treatments and meticulous attention to detail, Townhouse promises an exceptional experience for both clients and team members alike.
This salon is operated by Lewis & Clark, a local licensee of Townhouse. While you’ll uphold Townhouse brand standards, your employment and day-to-day support come from Lewis & Clark. Ongoing development, coaching and brand direction will be provided by the Brand Lead for Lewis & Clark’s Townhouse operations.

- Annual salary of £34,500 to £38,000, depending on experience

About the Role:
As Salon Manager, alongside providing flawless nail treatments 50% of the time, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, enhancing customer experiences, fostering staff motivation, and maintaining operational excellence. This leadership position requires effective management and support of the team with a hands-on approach, customer relations and salon operations while achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with company standards.
Role Responsibilities:
- Foster and manage a motivated, knowledgeable, and efficient team
- Creating staff rotas – making weekly corrections as necessary
- Management of annual leave, sickness and absence levels
- Conduct team education sessions on brand ethos and trading standards
- Evaluate team performance and identify talent for development
- Ensure flawless treatments and customer experiences
- Lead by example as a Townhouse Ambassador
- Address customer reviews and complaints promptly
- Oversee daily salon operations, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and security
- Evaluate and develop team performance
- Implement a local salon marketing plan and track results
- Ensure compliance with regulations and licensing

Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Nail Services or equivalent
- Proven experience in salon management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Comprehensive understanding of HR procedures
- Demonstrated ability to drive high levels of customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a salon environment
- Proficient in salon operations and compliance management
