About the Role
The South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit an experienced Safeguarding Nurse/Professional to join the Safeguarding Team. They will need to be enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about safeguarding in line with the Trust's Think Family approach and have experience of working with adults and children.
The post holder will be expected to have an in-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
Responsibilities
- This role is based across two locations, South Warwickshire University Foundation NHS Trust and the George Eliot Hospital. The post holder will be expected to divide their time across both.
- The post holder will work collaboratively with the Safeguarding Team, and other agencies to ensure that the organisation meets its safeguarding adult’s responsibilities and that adults with care and support needs are effectively safeguarded.
- The post holder will provide expert advice, support, training, and safeguarding adult supervision to health staff across the organisation.
- The post holder will contribute to effective multi-agency partnership working arrangements for safeguarding adults with care and support needs.
