Remarkable Minds · Freelance, flexible hours · £40 per hour
Remarkable Minds provides SEND tutoring for neurodivergent children, from Year 2 up to GCSE and National 5. Our tutors are qualified teachers and specialists who teach Maths and English the way the child in front of them needs it, not the way the timetable says.
About Remarkable Minds
Remarkable Minds connects parents of children with additional needs to exceptional learning specialists and tutors. We provide two services: private specialist support to help parents navigate the SEN journey, and private SEN tutoring.
Our fast-growing network comprises over 400 specialists and tutors, all enhanced DBS checked and ID verified, working with families across the UK.
The Role
We are recruiting an experienced SEN tutor to deliver one-to-one tuition to a neurodivergent student, online (preferred) or in the family home.
The role involves:
- Delivering one-hour, one-to-one sessions tailored to the individual student
- Teaching towards a defined academic goal, such as SATs, GCSE, National 5 or entrance examinations
- Adapting your teaching approach to the student's learning profile and attention needs
- Providing a short written summary after each session covering what was taught and recommended practice

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
