Job Title: National Account Controller – Grocery
Location: Remote with access to Bedford
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours / Shifts: 37.5 hours per week.

The Role
We’re looking for a National Account Controller who’s excited to bring their skills and ideas to the table. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the performance of the Grocery team in delivering their annual volume and financial KPIs, as well as developing and implementing the long-term strategy for Damm brands within the channel.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible for developing and implementing the Channel Strategy for growth for UK Grocery, ensuring that subsequent customer account plans are aligned to this strategy.
- Senior dialogue with their counterparts in all key customers.
- Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process for the channel, this includes setting volume forecasts that will be monitored and reported monthly, plus oversight of all spend on customer investment and promotions to ensure the total channel profitability.
- Working closely with key contacts in Category Management, Brand and Trade Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Supply Chain to ensure the team have the correct levels of support to be able to deliver their annual KPIs and budgets.
- As Direct Line Manager for the National Account team, the NAC will provide ongoing coaching and support to aid the continued development of the team members i.e. coaching in the field or formal training by internal or external sources.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years SNAM/NAC level experience.
- A strong communicator with previous experience in people management who can develop exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proven track record of P&L management.
- Demonstrating an understanding of the Super Premium category.
It’s a plus if you also have experience with the UK Off Trade & a beer background – but it’s not required!
