National Account Executive
We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven National Account Executive to join our commercial team and support the management of the UK's Top 6 Grocery retailers and European discounter customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in FMCG sales and account management, gaining exposure to major retail customers while taking full ownership of the UK discounter channel.
Your Responsibilities as a National Account Executive:
- Supporting the National Account Managers in the day-to-day management of key retail accounts across the Top 6 UK grocery retailers and European discounters.
- Taking full commercial responsibility for managing UK discounter customers, driving sales growth and profitability.
- Building strong customer relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact.
- Preparing customer presentations, sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
- Coordinating new product launches and customer projects with internal teams including NPD, Supply Chain, Technical, and Operations.
- Supporting negotiations, annual reviews, promotional planning, and tender submissions.
- Monitoring sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensuring customer requirements are delivered accurately and on time.

What You Bring With You as a National Account Executive:
- A self-starter with a strong sense of drive and purpose.
- Is action-orientated, prepared to roll up their sleeves and ultimately takes responsibility.
- Someone who is passionate about making a difference.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Commercially aware and comfortable working with data and analyzing performance.
- Pays particular attention to detail – it makes all the difference.
- Proactive, ambitious, and eager to learn.
- Experience in sales, account management, or a commercial support role within FMCG is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience within food manufacturing, private label, or retail would be advantageous.
