About the Role

Are you looking to develop your commercial career in a role where you can make a real impact? We are offering a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to build experience with our iconic brand. This is an excellent development opportunity for someone looking to build their commercial expertise and progress towards a National Account Manager role in the future.

As a National Account Executive, you'll play an important part in delivering our commercial strategy across key grocery customers, working closely with National Account Managers and cross-functional teams to drive performance and customer success.

Provide commercial, forecasting, and customer support, helping to deliver excellent promotional execution, effective customer communication, and outstanding in-store performance. Through accurate forecasting, trade investment management, and strong collaboration, you'll contribute to profitable growth while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

As our business continues to evolve, you'll have the opportunity to work with digital tools, Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems, automated reporting, and data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and commercial outcomes.

The Recipe

  • Maintain accurate customer forecasts, aligned to the Commercial Plan profit and loss (P&L)
  • Support the National Account Manager (NAM) in delivering commercial targets, customer plans, promotions, product launches, and in-store execution
  • Develop and coordinate promotional activity, ensuring compliance, accurate execution, and timely approvals
  • Provide commercial administration support, including invoicing, promotional claims, price file management, and internal documentation
  • Support the resolution of invoice queries and outstanding debt issues
  • Deliver clear sales briefings and provide accurate insights for customer meetings, business reviews, and internal updates
  • Help implement customer strategies across Grocery, Convenience, Express, and Online channels
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive collaboration and shared success
  • Use data and insights to identify opportunities, improve performance, and support decision-making
  • Contribute to process improvements, innovation planning, and the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy

The Ingredients

Key Know How:

  • Ambition to develop into a National Account Manager role and build a successful career in account management
  • Experience in a commercial, administrative, or coordination role within FMCG or a fast-paced customer environment
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, including the ability to work with forecasts and sales data
  • Proficiency in Excel with an excellent attention to detail forecasting tools and commercial systems
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, utilising excellent communication skills and organisation.
