National Account Executive (Fixed Term Contract - 2 Years)

Are you a recent graduate, completing your degree, or looking for your first step into a commercial career? Or perhaps you already have some experience in sales, customer service, account support, category, analytics, or FMCG and are ready for your next challenge?
At Müller Yogurt & Desserts, we're looking for a National Account Executive to join our Retail team on a 2-year fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with some of the UK's largest grocery retailers, including ASDA, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, and M&S, while developing the commercial skills needed for a successful career in FMCG.
Working alongside experienced National Account Managers
You'll play a key role in supporting customer relationships, analysing performance data, managing promotional activity, and helping deliver growth across some of the nation's favourite dairy brands.
What will you be doing?
This is a varied role that will give you exposure to all aspects of National Account Management and customer-facing commercial operations.
You'll be:
- Supporting the delivery of account plans across key retail customers
- Analysing sales, promotional, and customer performance data to identify trends and opportunities
- Assisting with forecasting customer demand and promotional volumes
- Producing reports, insights, and recommendations to support commercial decision making
- Managing customer administration accurately and efficiently
- Monitoring promotional performance and evaluating commercial outcomes
- Supporting customer meetings and presentations
- Building strong working relationships with internal teams including Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Category
- Helping identify opportunities to grow sales, distribution, and market share

Who are we looking for?
We'd love to hear from you if you're naturally curious, enjoy working with data, and build strong relationships with others.
This role could be ideal for:
- Recent graduates from any degree discipline
- Candidates completing a placement year or graduate scheme
- Individuals with experience in FMCG, retail, sales support, customer service, category, marketing, or analytics
- Candidates looking to build a long-term career in Commercial or National Account Management
You'll also bring:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Good analytical skills and confidence working with data
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
