We're hiring a National Account Executive to join our Convenience Sales Team!
This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow wine sales across the independent off-trade Cash & Carry sector, working with a national buying group to drive distribution, volume and profitability. Freixenet Copestick Ltd are a major player in the UK drinks market and we're proud to be the UK's leading supplier of sparkling wines. In this role you'll build strong commercial relationships with key accounts, execute effective sales strategies and play a key role in delivering national sales targets.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts within a national buying group
- Act as the primary point of contact for your designated Cash & Carry customers, building long-term commercial partnerships
- Deliver sales, distribution and profitability targets across your accounts
- Create and implement account plans to drive sustainable business growth
- Identify new listing opportunities across Cash & Carry wholesalers, symbol groups and independent convenience retailers
- Plan and execute promotional activity with customers to maximise sales performance
- Forecast sales, manage account budgets and monitor performance against targets
- Analyse sales data, market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Support annual trading negotiations, promotional planning and pricing discussions
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and execution

What we're looking for:
- Experience in account management within an FMCG environment, or experience working in the Cash & Carry, wholesale or convenience sector
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confident analysing sales data and using insights to drive commercial decisions
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Collaborative, proactive and results-driven approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to travel nationally on average three days per week
- Located within a commutable distance of London and the South East
- Interest in the wine, drinks or wider FMCG industry
