About the Role:

As a National Account Executive – Discounters, you will play an important role in supporting the development and delivery of Ferrero’s commercial plans across our Discounter customers. Working closely with the National Account Manager, you will help manage customer relationships, support commercial negotiations and contribute to the development and execution of customer plans. You will use customer and market insight to identify opportunities, monitor performance and ensure agreed commercial and promotional activities are delivered effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity to build your commercial experience within a fast-paced FMCG environment, gaining exposure to key customers while working with some of Ferrero’s most recognised brands.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will build strong relationships with customers and develop your understanding of their priorities, performance and opportunities for future growth.
  • You will regularly review sales and customer performance, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities and working with the National Account Manager to develop appropriate actions. This will include supporting opportunities across areas such as distribution, listings, promotional activity, pricing, stock and service levels.
  • Working closely with Trade Marketing, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and other internal teams, you will help ensure customer activity is aligned with Ferrero’s wider commercial plans and executed effectively.
  • You will also support the management of sales forecasts, customer budgets and commercial investment, ensuring activity remains within agreed guidelines and providing accurate information to support business planning and decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
