The Advocate Group are working with a market-leading consumer goods business to hire for a Northern-Ireland based National Account Executive to operate across the Island of Ireland.
This role is ideal for an ambitious commercial professional looking to accelerate their career within a fast-paced environment, working across Grocery and/or Convenience channels to shape strategy, drive execution, and deliver sustainable growth.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Channel Manager, you'll play a key role in developing and executing customer and channel growth plans across Northern Ireland and the wider Island of Ireland market.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and the external bottling partner, you'll help translate commercial strategy into impactful customer activation plans that drive market share growth and strengthen brand performance.

- Develop a deep understanding of the Northern Ireland market, customer landscape, emerging trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Support the creation and delivery of robust channel growth plans.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable commercial programmes and initiatives.
- Build compelling recommendations that improve performance across Grocery and Convenience channels.
- Collaborate closely with key commercial partners and cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives.
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across the customer base.
- Act as a trusted partner internally and externally, building strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.
- Support customer engagement, trade events, and occasional weekend activations when required.
What You'll Have
- Experience in a Key Account, Commercial, Category, Trade Marketing, or Customer Development role.
- Strong understanding of Grocery and/or Convenience retail channels.
- Knowledge of the Northern Ireland market and its customers.
- FMCG experience, ideally across the Island of Ireland.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and ability to work independently.
- A track record of delivering results in a fast-moving commercial environment.
- Be based in Northern Ireland (commutable to Lisburn) with ability to travel within Island of Ireland as required/desired.
