Location: Hybrid - Christchurch, Dorset (2 days per week in the office)

Purpose of the role:

As National Account Executive, you will take full ownership of a key customer account, playing a central role in driving sales, strengthening the customer relationship and identifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing the account day-to-day, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders and delivering against agreed sales targets. The role will involve regular face-to-face customer meetings, presenting our product range, understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities for growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular customer meetings to maintain accounts and present NPD
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities within the market
  • Build strong relationships Internally with: Product, Operations, Commercial and Technical. As well as our Far East Team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all customers to ensure product listings and growth
  • Customer relationship management
  • Cross functional collaboration across all departments both UK and FE
  • Regular trade visits
  • Help to manage all aspects of: Budgeting, forecasting, objectives, etc
  • Set and achieve sales targets
  • Monitor sales performance weekly
  • Provide regular sales reports across the account base

About you:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in an account executive role previously
  • Experience working with multiple retail channels, from discount retailers through to grocery and premium retailers
  • Established network and a good understanding of the retail, supply and manufacturing process
  • Experience or a genuine interest in Household, Health & Beauty products would be advantageous
  • Experience working with digital and online sales platforms is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident presenting to and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer needs
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to travel nationally for face-to-face customer meetings
