Location: Gatwick (Hybrid working – approx. 2 flexible days a week in one of our fantastic offices)
Salary: £30k - £35k depending on experience

Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a National Account Executive to join the Nestlé Professional – Out Of Home team. The National Account Executive plays a key role within the Nestlé Professional Sales Team and is responsible for supporting the development and management of share winning profitable customer plans - with a primary focus on the shaping of the Customer Plan, the preparation for all Monthly Business Planning processes and supporting the externalisation of customer plans in alignment with their Customer Business Team.
This role supports the National Account Managers and Senior National Account Managers but within this also has a key customer facing element and you will be responsible for either a customer, or an element of a customer’s portfolio, supported by the wider team.

Your impact
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Own and agree the customer baselines with Sales Analyst at the required customer/EAN level as a base for building the plan
- Own and develop promotional plan to include revenue, trade spend and promotion activation details including timing, mechanics and estimated amount sold on deal (uplift &/or total)
- Where relevant develop and continuously improve customer Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and investments plans with a pay for performance mind set
- Support the timely and accurate external execution of Customer Plans with the Customer Business Team, providing excellent communication to Customers, completing all required internal and external documentation and alignment to ensure perfect execution of customer plans
- Work with the Category and Marketing teams to facilitate best in class category strategies and activation. Shape best in class selling stories, in-store activation, and promotional performance
- Request completion of relevant customer admin with the Sales Admin Team in a timely and right first-time manner through the Sales Admin Portal (Samples, New Line Forms, Artwork, Purchase Orders)
- Ownership and completion of Promotional Proposal forms E2E for your customer or CBU including the attachment of promotional agreements to activities for compliance purposes.
- Support with the timely preparation and input into all relevant internal planning processes (weekly, monthly and quarterly). Utilise multiple data sets to create guidance to build understanding of external performance dynamics.
- Complete promotional pre- and post-evaluation (to included commentary and proof of execution) and optimisation in conjunction with SRM throughout the year to drive ROI and as an input into CR

Support with the management of trade spend actuals, attendance at trade spend review, and supporting your SFE with accrual management and changes

Instore Execution - Timely communication with field ops where relevant to enable field teams at the point of purchase. Selling story's, briefs etc.

Management of and support at key events such as tradeshows.
Your ingredients for success
To be successful in this role, you’ll already have some fantastic commercial experience ideally within the FMCG sector. You will work as part of a fast-moving team managing customer plans where accuracy and attention to detail are key to ensure a right first-time result.

Essential:
- Be proficient in Excel and comfortable using other Microsoft Office programs
- Make good use of insightful information and be naturally analytical
- Be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of commercial and financial situations
- Be comfortable when working collaboratively and cross functionally
- Have strong and flexible communication skills and styles
- Be organised and adept at planning and prioritising workloads
- Naturally curious, it is crucial that you are able to take the initiative when faced with any obstacle to solve problems and overcome barriers
Desirable
- Experience within the FMCG industry
- Forecasting, sales and negotiation experiences would be beneficial
