National Account Executive

We're proud to be exclusively partnering with a leading global drinks business on an exciting opportunity within its UK Off Trade team.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional to join a high-energy team supporting some of the UK's biggest Grocery customers, including Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

The role is initially focused on commercial execution, supply chain and account support, working closely with the wider National Accounts team. However, there is a clear opportunity to develop into direct customer ownership as you build your experience.

For someone looking to develop a long-term career in Off Trade and ultimately progress towards a National Account Manager position, this role offers genuine scope to grow.

The Role:

• Support the National Accounts team across a portfolio of major Grocery customers.
• Take ownership of day-to-day account execution across invoicing, forecasting, accruals, debt management, EPOS and promotional activity.
• Manage and develop relationships with customer supply chain and operational contacts.
• Lead monthly supply chain meetings, preparing presentations and reviewing availability, forecasts and upcoming requirements.
• Own forecasting activity across your areas, developing a view on performance and proactively challenging assumptions where appropriate.
• Analyse customer and EPOS data to understand what is happening across the accounts, why it is happening and what action should be taken.
• Monitor promotional execution, pricing, retros and agreed activity, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues proactively.
• Work closely with Commercial Marketing to support activations, store lists, performance tracking and reporting.
• Support customer meetings, presentations, account reviews and store visits.
• Provide the wider team with accurate, timely and commercially useful reporting and insight.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working across the team.
• Build towards managing your own customer relationships and developing shadow P&L experience as your capability grows.
• Take ownership of agreed projects and proactively look for ways to support the wider commercial team.
