πŸ“Œ Role Overview PerfectTed is looking for a National Account Executive to help manage and grow our retail partnerships as we continue to scale across the UK.

Sitting within our fast-growing commercial team, you'll support the day-to-day management of key retail accounts, helping drive distribution, availability, visibility, and rate of sale across our portfolio.

You'll get exposure to the full commercial lifecycle, from product listings, promotions, and customer meetings to forecasting, launches, performance analysis, and in-store execution.

You'll work closely with a Senior National Account Manager while taking increasing ownership of accounts and projects as you develop.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their FMCG commercial career who wants real responsibility, exposure to major retail customers, and a clear opportunity to grow into a National Account Manager.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Growth

  • Support the day-to-day management of retail customer relationships
  • Take ownership of selected accounts and projects, with support from the Senior National Account Manager
  • Manage product listings, ranging, pricing updates, and promotional schedules
  • Build strong relationships with customer contacts and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to grow distribution, visibility, and rate of sale
  • Support new product launches and customer onboarding from initial planning through to execution

Retail Execution

  • Help ensure PerfectTed shows up brilliantly across our retail partners, with the right range, placement, availability, and activation
  • Monitor distribution and availability, identifying gaps and driving actions to resolve them
  • Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain on stock, forecasting, and fulfillment
  • Support promotional and activation plans to maximize performance
  • Work with Marketing to bring brand campaigns and NPD launches to life across retail

Commercial Performance & Insights

  • Analyse sales performance, promotional effectiveness, and account-level trends
  • Turn data into clear commercial insights and recommended actions
  • Support account forecasting and help surface risks and opportunities early
  • Prepare customer presentations, account reviews, and internal reporting
  • Track performance against commercial targets and identify opportunities for incremental growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver against account plans
  • Keep internal teams aligned on customer requirements, launches, promotions, and deadlines
  • Support the wider commercial team with reporting, customer presentations, and trade materials
  • Represent PerfectTed at customer meetings, trade shows, and retail events throughout the year

Must-Haves

  • 1–3 years' experience in FMCG, retail, sales, commercial, or account management, or equivalent experience in a fast-paced consumer business
  • Strong commercial instincts and an interest in developing your career within FMCG sales
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
  • Confident building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to take ownership rather than wait to be told what to do
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • AI-first mentality – you actively use AI to improve the way you work, from analysing data and preparing presentations to planning, reporting, and day-to-day admin. You're curious about new tools and constantly looking for ways to work smarter and faster

  • Previous experience working with UK retailers
  • Experience within food, drink, wellness, or wider FMCG
  • Familiarity with retail data tools such as Nielsen, Circana, or retailer portals
  • Experience within a founder-led, startup, or high-growth business
