About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to support and grow our Tesco and One Stop business as part of the wider Tesco Group team. You’ll play a key role in delivering sales, profit and execution plans, working closely with our Tesco Group SNAM and cross-functional colleagues to strengthen customer relationships, drive commercial performance and ensure flawless execution across promotional, range and NPD activity.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the Tesco Group SNAM in managing Tesco and One Stop, helping deliver agreed sales, profit, margin and volume targets
  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for selected customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up
  • Coordinate promotional activity, seasonal events, range changes and new product launches across Tesco and One Stop
  • Prepare and maintain account plans, promotional calendars, meeting materials and customer trackers
  • Identify opportunities to grow distribution, improve promotional effectiveness and deliver incremental value
  • Monitor customer performance, market trends, consumer insights and competitor activity to inform recommendations
  • Track sales performance by brand, SKU and promotional event, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Support forecasting, budget management and internal reporting, ensuring plans are accurate and aligned with customer activity
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to ensure availability, service levels and customer requirements are met
  • Assist with commercial administration, including pricing, terms, promotional submissions and customer documentation
  • Build strong internal relationships across Sales, Category, Customer Marketing, Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Finance

  • Experience in sales and/or buying, with strong commercial awareness
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially astute, with strong influencing skills
  • Confident analysing sales data and basic financials
  • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Energised by a fast-paced working environment
  • Collaborative communicator with a clear, open style
  • Methodical, organised and able to plan workload effectively
