National Account Manager – Iconic Drinks Brand – South of England - Up to £60,000 plus package

My client is a leading and well-known Drinks brand operating at a national level, with an exceptional track record in growth across the On and Off trade. This brand is iconic, with a range of exciting NPD, new launches and trade exposure. With over 10 years in the industry, this business is one to watch.

As a National Account Manager, you will need to drive and grow the National On-Trade Group sector through your commercial acumen, personal approach and star quality that corresponds with the company values. The National Account Manager will have the opportunity to develop national accounts, manage key stakeholder relationships and play a pivotal part in business growth.

This role has a strong new business focus, with NPD launching to support into mid-large sized groups and premium venues (along with pubs and casual dining).

National Account Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives. A mix of account management and new business.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in mid-large sized national groups.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and ensure mutual satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the brand and network with potential clients.

The Ideal National Account Manager candidate:

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager or in a similar sales role within the drinks industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the national on-trade sector, with a track record in new business development and NPD.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
