National Account Manager (Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Hybrid (UK)
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract

We're partnering with a leading global beauty business to recruit an experienced National Account Manager for a fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, commercially driven organisation with a portfolio of premium products and a strong presence across the UK retail landscape.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Senior Commercial team, you'll be responsible for managing key national retail accounts, driving sales performance, and delivering joint business plans that achieve sustainable growth.

This role requires someone who can combine strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship management skills and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with key national retail customers.
  • Deliver sales, profit, and market share objectives across your account portfolio.
  • Develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans aligned with commercial strategy.
  • Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, promotions, and trading terms.
  • Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Demand Planning teams to ensure excellent customer execution.
  • Prepare and present customer reviews, forecasts, and business updates.
  • Manage promotional activity and ensure accurate forecasting and stock availability.
  • Monitor competitor activity and recommend actions to maximise performance.

About You

You'll be an experienced National Account Manager with a proven track record of delivering results within a consumer goods environment.

  • Experience managing the likes of THG, John Lewis, Selfridges
  • Strong commercial negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent analytical ability with confidence using sales data and reporting tools.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
