National Account Manager
£50,000 – £55,000 + Benefits
Surrey | 3 days per week in the office
FMCG Selection is working with a fast-growing premium chilled food business that has built strong momentum across the UK grocery market.
The brand has secured significant national distribution, continued to expand its retail presence and has been recognised for its innovation. As the business moves into its next stage of growth, they are now looking to appoint a commercially strong National Account Manager to help develop a portfolio of major UK grocery customers.
About the Role
Reporting into the Senior National Account Manager, you will take ownership of customer relationships, range reviews, promotional planning, new product listings and account P&Ls, while supporting wider commercial growth across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships across major UK grocery accounts
- Lead range reviews, promotional planning and new product listings
- Own account P&Ls, including pricing, trade spend, promotional ROI and margin
- Prepare and present sales data, category insight and joint business plans
- Support and lead CPI and trading-term negotiations
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain and finance
- Identify opportunities to increase distribution and accelerate account growth
The Candidate
You will ideally have:
- 2–3+ years’ National Account Management or Account Management experience within FMCG / food & drink
- Experience working with major UK grocery retailers
- Strong commercial and numerical skills
- P&L ownership and negotiation experience
- Confidence building relationships with retail buyers
- A proactive, commercially focused approach
- Ability to commute to the Surrey office 3 days per week
