Account Manager Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join my client, a growing business specialising in the supply of chemical raw materials. Within this role you will manage and grow key accounts, as well as identify new business opportunities across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with key national accounts
  • Identify and win new business opportunities within target markets
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements
  • Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry exhibitions across the UK & EU
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements
  • Work closely with internal teams (procurement, logistics, operations) to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting – SAGE 200

  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a positive and proactive approach

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
