About The Role
The National Account Manager will ensure the account defined volume and profitability targets are achieved. You will represent account specific requirements and manage these in line with the Commercial Plan. You will ensure sector specific dynamics are incorporated in the Commercial Plan & forecast process.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Customer Management - Develop and maintain commercial contact strategy across multiple levels.
- Upselling - Identify and exploit all sales opportunities relevant to the customer and channel.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Develop and manage best-in-class relationships with key customers/customers.
- Joint Business Planning - Full accountability from planning to execution.
- Commercial Acumen - Input into the Commercial Plan and monitor/manage the channel volume and profitability against comparators (LY, Budget), grow sustainability of the business over agreed timeframe.
- Cross Functional Collaboration - Work to improve cash flow across sector in conjunction with finance colleagues.
- Market & Consumer Insights - Communicate and represent trends within the channel to all internal functions.
- Delivery - Set and deliver individual objectives in line with organisational and divisional targets & priorities.
- Project Management - Lead and support projects when required.
- P&L Management - Understands the customers P&L and key levers that they use to drive growth.
- Team Management - Responsible for managing all employee related activity in line with company policies (if managing a team).

What You’ll Bring
- Experience - 3+ years commercial Sales or Commercial Buying experience, with a proven track record of delivering against stretching targets.
- Business & account planning - Develop and implement strategic plans for managing client accounts and driving business growth.
- Customer understanding and relationship development - Build strong, lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
