As we continue our ambitious growth journey, we are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to lead our strategic partnership with Superdrug—our largest and most important retail customer. The role will also include managing and expanding some smaller accounts.
The Role
The National Account Manager will have full commercial responsibility for the Superdrug account, driving profitable growth through exceptional customer management, strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will own the account P&L, develop and deliver the Joint Business Plan, negotiate commercial agreements and identify opportunities to grow market share, distribution and profitability.
This role requires someone who combines strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship management skills and a passion for the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the key Buying, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Marketing teams, being the primary commercial contact for all account-related activity.
- Own the forecasting for all NPD, core products and discontinuations for key accounts. Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager to communicate accurate sales, promotional volumes and future product requirements.
- Develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans aligned with company objectives, identifying opportunities to maximise revenue, profitability, SPLF, return on investment and brand exposure.
- Working alongside the Head of Brand & NPD teams, prepare compelling customer presentations for new product launches, activation ideas and seasonal initiatives.
- Fully manage and own the Superdrug estate yearly rebalance and store update strategy. Working closely with key manufacturers and inhouse merchandising teams to make sure the brand has strong stand, tester and aftermarket availability.
- Evaluate promotional effectiveness and make recommendations to improve profitability, working closely with Finance to manage deductions, promotional claims and account reconciliations.
- Analyse EPOS, category, shopper and market data to identify commercial opportunities and any anomalies or gaps in sales.
- Monitor product availability, distribution & weekly orders to align with brand growth, forecasting and retailer investment.
- Collaborate with Product Development to ensure future innovation meets customer and consumer needs, feeding in accurate data to support the development of NPD, EPD and potential discontinuation.
- Working closely with wider internal and external teams, manage the execution of instore and online marketing and POS deadlines. Leading the strategy for all instore and online updates and alongside the merchandising team.
