Are you ready to step into a National Account Manager role where you can take genuine ownership of a high-value wholesale portfolio and make an immediate commercial impact?

Signature Career Management are partnering with a fast-growing FMCG business with an exciting portfolio of products and big ambitions for the UK market.

The business combines entrepreneurial pace and agility with the backing and resources of an established international organisation. It’s a genuinely exciting time to join, with ambitious growth plans, new product launches on the horizon and plenty of opportunity for the right person to make their mark.

The business is now looking for an experienced National Account Manager to take strategic ownership of a portfolio of key Wholesale Buying Group customers.

This is a high-visibility role with real autonomy. You’ll take full responsibility for your customer strategy, P&L and Joint Business Plans, while building strong relationships across both Head Office and member businesses to unlock new opportunities, grow distribution and drive profitable growth.

It’s a role that will suit someone who enjoys being close to the customer, is commercially sharp and wants genuine ownership rather than simply managing an existing account plan.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
