National Account Manager

Position: National Account Manager, Sales

Working hours: Full-time

Work model: Remote

Contract type: Permanent

Are you a commercially driven relationship builder who thrives on developing strategic customer partnerships and delivering growth? Do you want to play a key role in shaping STG's presence across major grocery retailers and distributor channels? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

As our new National Account Manager, you will be part of the UK Sales team and play an important role in driving growth across our Grocery & Ireland channel. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Category and Supply Chain teams to develop and execute customer strategies that deliver sustainable growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and increase category performance. This is a great opportunity to make a significant commercial impact within an international organization.

What Your Day Will Look Like

In this role, you will typically focus on:

  • Develop and execute channel and customer plans across Grocery retail accounts and distributor partners.
  • Manage key customer relationships, including Asda, Morrisons, Co-op and Ireland distributors, ensuring strong commercial performance and long-term partnership development.
  • Identify opportunities to increase distribution, visibility and category performance across priority product categories.
  • Lead customer negotiations, promotional planning and business reviews to deliver mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor market, customer and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities, risks and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align customer plans with wider business priorities and deliver agreed sales, distribution and profitability targets.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in National Account Management, retail sales, or route-to-market environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing customer relationships, negotiations and business performance.
  • Excellent analytical and planning skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable customer plans.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment while maintaining focus on results.
  • Experience within FMCG and understanding of category growth drivers would be an advantage.

For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from £52,125 to £69,500.
