About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager to join our commercial team in Lichfield as our retail business continues to grow. Working across both established Florette brand and own label customers, you will work with our Head of Commercial to take our customer relationships to the next level through exceptional account management. Working closely with our marketing, NPD and category insight teams, you will play a key part in delivering market leading trade plans to unlock growth, delight our consumers and build on our long standing customer partnerships.
Working Hours
- 37.5 per week
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key national accounts, acting as the primary point of contact
- Develop and implement commercial trade plans to deliver sales growth and profitability in line with agreed objectives and budgets
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all customer activity is managed proactively, professionally, and effectively
- Lead on the execution, alongside NPD and category, of any feasible EPD & NPD launches – both internally & externally
- Monitor sales performance and promotional effectiveness, ensuring forecasts are accurate and using insights to inform decision-making
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Participate in industry events and trade shows to build both personal and company profile and build strong networks
- Represent the business at industry events and trade shows to enhance both personal and company profile and build strong networks
Skills And Experience Required
- Proven experience in account management within FMCG, ideally within fresh produce
- Strong commercial acumen and results driven mindset
- Excellent relationship building, communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised and experience of working across multi customer accounts

About Us
Florette is one of three UK food manufacturing sites within Agrial Fresh Produce Ltd, which is an autonomous part of the larger 17,500 employee strong French co-operative group, Agrial.
The business operates mainly under its recognisable Florette salad brand and we are one of the UK’s leading producers in the industry. Under the well-known Florette brand, our site processes and distributes pre-packed, ready to eat, fresh salad bags and bowls to some of the UK's most well-known supermarkets and retailers, as well as your favourite restaurants and fast food vendors. In total, we sell on average around 600,000kg of products every week - an unbe-leaf-able amount!
Agrial has operations across 11 countries, with 100 industrial sites, and a 2024 turnover of €7.1bn across 5 food divisions which comprise of Beverage, Dairy, Meat, Fresh Produce & Agricultural operations; it’s not just about lettuce! As well as 2 factories we also have a farming operation – Agrial Fresh Farms. All UK sites operate under the name of Agrial Fresh Produce Limited and fall under Agrial's vegetable division.
