National Account Manager
Are you a commercially driven sales professional with experience within Moving & Handling sector, healthcare or a patent handling related sector?
Our client, a leading provider of healthcare equipment and patient care solutions, is looking for an ambitious National Account Manager to take ownership of the growth and development of its Moving and Handling portfolio across the UK.
This is a brand new and exciting opportunity, giving you the chance to shape the role, develop the strategy and really make the position your own. You will have the freedom to work strategically while remaining close to customers, developing new business, expanding existing accounts and supporting the wider sales team to turn commercial opportunities into measurable sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering national sales strategies
- Achieve agreed revenue, gross margin, and growth targets
- Identify new customers and build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Develop and lead strategic proposals, tenders, and customer presentations
- Act as the Moving & Handling specialist, coaching and supporting the sales team
- Develop clear commercial propositions and effective sales messaging
- Analyse sales performance and market intelligence to inform strategy
- Collaborate with marketing on targeted lead generation campaigns

About You
- Experience in the Moving & Handling sector, healthcare or medical devices
- A proven track record of delivering sales and revenue growth
- Strong experience in new business development and growing existing accounts
- Skilled in managing a sales pipeline to meet revenue and margin targets
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships with senior clinical and procurement decision-makers
- A collaborative approach to working with internal sales teams
- Full UK driving licence and able to travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays
- Commercially driven, ambitious, and results-focused
- Strategic and hands on, with a strong understanding of customers and market opportunities
- A strong communicator and negotiator who works collaboratively with colleagues
