Commercially curious? Strategy and innovation always on your mind? This one could be worth a read…

You’ll join one of the largest and fastest-growing businesses in the FMCG industry. You’ll be trusted to have complete autonomy and encouraged to bring ideas to the table and have major influence to make an impact.

They’re probably the biggest company you’ve never heard of! Started out as a family farming business, lead with quality not price, extremely profitable and own five UK manufacturing sites.

This is not a maintenance role! They want someone who is all about proactivity!

"What else can we sell them? Where is the next opportunity? How can we develop this relationship further?"

You’ll manage an exciting range of customers, ranging from more transactional accounts through to serious strategic partnerships where there is great opportunity to implement longer-term agreements, JBP-style working and significantly grow the relationship.

You’ll have access the full access to their full range of products, spanning across 5 UK sites. With recent acquisitions expanding the portfolio further, there is a huge amount of opportunity to cross-sell into existing customers.

The culture is also a massive part of why people join and stay.

Despite the scale and pace of the business, the whole business is supportive, collaborative and low ego. People help each other, share knowledge and muck in when needed. You'll have access to an experienced leadership team, but importantly, you’ll also be trusted to think for yourself.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Someone comfortable working autonomously and bringing their own ideas
  • Experience within food ingredients would be advantageous but isn't essential
  • Retail FMCG candidates looking to move into B2B will also be considered if the motivations are right
