💥 National Account Manager 💥
❤️ Personal care brand
📍Hybrid - 3 days in London Bridge (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), WFH Monday & Friday
💸 Salary between 45-55k (DOE) + equity!
Ignite are delighted to be working with a very exciting personal care brand that are on a mission to change bathroom habits to make them more sustainable, cleaner and whole lot less wasteful. Retail is their fastest-growing channel and they are now looking for their first dedicated retail hire: a National Account Manager to own, nurture and grow these relationships.
This role is all about making this brand a standout partner for their existing retailers: building deep relationships with buying teams, landing joint business plans, winning range reviews, and driving rate of sale so that every store that stocks this product, sells more.
What skills do you need to have to be considered?
- ⭐️Candidates MUST have proven experience as a NAM (or strong NAE ready to step up) - ideally personal care, health & beauty or wellness
- ⭐️Experience managing Boots and/or Holland & Barrett (or comparable UK health & beauty retailers) – you know how these buying teams work.
- ⭐️ A track record of growing existing accounts: JBPs landed, range reviews won, rate of sale moved.
- ⭐️ Commercially sharp: comfortable owning a P&L, trade spend and promotional ROI.
- ⭐️ Fluent with EPOS and category data – you turn numbers into a story a buyer wants to act on.
- ⭐️ Comfortable being the first retail hire in a scaling business: self-sufficient, organised, and happy to build the playbook rather than inherit one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We would love to reply to all applications, regrettably we are unable to do so due to the high volumes we receive, so if you do not hear back within 14 days unfortunately on this role it won’t be progressing. It is possible that the position could be in the process of closing, so chalk it up to bad timing. But, have no fear! There will be more opportunities. Follow us so you don’t miss them. 👀
