National Account Manager
Barnsley - Hybrid
Up to £42,000 + Company Car + Bonus
The Opportunity:
Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation within the education space. This is a relationship-led commercial role where you'll be responsible for developing key accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and building relationships with new customers.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a Account Manager, National Account Manager, Regional Sales, Field Sales, Area Sales, Business Development Manager or similar role.
The Role:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of key accounts
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to grow and develop existing customers
- Creating new business opportunities and developing prospective accounts
- Managing the full sales process from initial conversations through to renewal and growth
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline
- Keeping CRM activity, opportunities and forecasts up to date
- Working closely with internal teams to support customers and drive commercial growth
- Attending industry events, conferences and customer meetings
- Travelling across the UK to meet with customers and develop key relationships

The Person:
- A strong background in account management, business development or B2B sales
- Experience within education, EdTech, SaaS or a similar environment
- A proven ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers
- Experience growing existing accounts alongside developing new business
- Previous experience managing a national customer base and travelling across the UK would be a strong advantage
- A consultative and relationship-focused approach
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to spot opportunities
- Someone proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple accounts and opportunities
- Flexibility to travel regularly as part of the role
