The Role
Moose Toys is looking for a National Account Manager who will play an integral role in managing and growing Moose brands, delivering results and seeking opportunities to exceed customer expectations.
A core part of this role will be representing Moose out in the market: working independently to plan, organise, set up and attend the trade shows, exhibitions and customer events linked to set accounts. Confidently presenting Moose products directly to the customers.
Experience & Qualifications
You will be responsible for managing, consolidating, and growing sales for Moose brands and products in the UK market for agreed retailers and in line with set budgets. Continued search for new commercial opportunities and support the ongoing development of Moose retailers.
- At least two years' National Account Management experience within toys and games, or a closely related consumer products sector, with strong retail exposure.
- A solid working knowledge of managing or supporting retailer accounts — ideally within the UK grocery channel, with exposure to specialist/independent retailers also welcomed.
- Demonstrable experience of running customer-facing trade shows, exhibitions or product showcases end-to-end planning, logistics, set-up, sample and product preparation, and attendance on the day. If you haven’t led events like these yet, tell us how your experience has prepared you to.
- Strong presentation skills and genuine confidence engaging face to face with customers — you’ll regularly present products, pitch ranges and build relationships in person.
- Comfortable with regular UK travel and time away from home, including overnight stays around trade shows, customer meetings and retail visits. A full, valid UK driving licence is required.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn customer, sales and market data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Curious and willing to experiment to stay ahead of trends, confidently using AI and digital tools to support smarter ways of working.
- A collaborative, well-organised approach, comfortable working under pressure, juggling priorities and hitting deadlines.
- Ready to take ownership of your own accounts and grow with the role — this is a great opportunity for an established account manager looking to build on their experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
