Job Description: National Account Manager
In this role you will manage and develop key retail accounts, driving profitable, sustainable growth across the DIY and home improvement retail sector. This is a critical, strategic role within the sales function, requiring you to:
- Manage and develop retail accounts and relationships, including B&Q, Screwfix, and the wider Kingfisher Group.
- Develop and implement JBPs and promotional activity with key retail partners.
- Drive profitability and sustainable growth through range extensions, new product listings, and NPD.
- Own budget building and reporting for your accounts.
- Oversee the supply chain for your accounts through forecasting and delivery.
- Analyse market trends, the retail landscape, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director.

This is a home-based role with a commutable requirement to be in the company's office two days per week, with travel across the UK when required.

Candidate Profile: National Account Manager
- 3+ years of National Account Manager experience within the retail multiples, able to hit the ground running.
- Experience selling into B&Q, Screwfix, or the wider Kingfisher Group is essential.
- Proven track record of delivering results, driving category growth, and distribution.
- Strong commercial acumen and numerical/data proficiency.
- Skilled negotiator focused on building long-term partnerships.
- Strategic thinker and excellent communicator.
- Ability to operate and influence at all levels, cross-functionally.
- A team player, ready to collaborate and get involved in hands-on tasks.
- Able to commute to the company's office in Burton on Trent two days per week.

Salary/Benefits Information
The successful candidate will receive a negotiable salary plus a company car or car allowance and a bonus scheme (20% based on achievement of KPIs). Further benefits include 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, life assurance, company pension, and a laptop/phone.
