National Account Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a National Account Manager based in United Kingdom.

As a National Account Manager, you will manage and grow an established portfolio of high-value B2B customers. You will build trusted relationships with senior and C-level stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of their strategic, organizational, and financial objectives. Using a consultative sales approach, you will identify opportunities to increase customer retention, expand existing contracts, and introduce relevant products and services. You will work cross-functionally to turn account strategies into measurable outcomes and stronger customer relationships. The role combines relationship management, strategic account planning, and SaaS sales in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your ability to create value for customers will directly contribute to business growth and long-term account success.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute territory plans designed to maximize client retention, contract upgrades, and sales of products and services.
  • Establish, strengthen, and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers across assigned accounts.
  • Understand and articulate the strategic, organizational, and financial priorities of each client and connect them with appropriate solutions.
  • Create and execute tailored account plans and sales campaigns for specific customers, identifying opportunities for expansion and growth.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and implement action plans that improve or optimize customers' use of products and services.
  • Manage the full account development process, from identifying customer needs and opportunities through to commercial execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account, contact, and activity information in the CRM.
  • Contribute to a customer-first culture through strong communication, accountability, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through.

Requirements:

  • 2–3+ years of experience in SaaS sales, the recruitment industry, or a closely related B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success and consistently achieving or exceeding commercial objectives.
  • Strong passion for sales, with a proactive, target-driven, and results-oriented approach.
  • Experience with complex, consultative sales involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong consultative and solution-selling capabilities, with the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into relevant solutions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at different organizational levels, including senior and C-level executives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions while maintaining ownership of customer outcomes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
  • Curious, growth-minded, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
