National Account Manager | South
A Strategic National Account Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market-leading manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and service.
This is not a traditional account management role.
We are looking for a commercially astute, analytical and strategic National Account Manager to take ownership of a significant £5m revenue channel, managing and developing a portfolio of approximately 40 active accounts across the UK, with the majority concentrated throughout the South of England.
The successful individual will inherit an established and performing channel with strong existing relationships already in place. The focus will be on identifying growth opportunities, strengthening partnerships, improving performance and delivering long-term commercial success.
This role would suit an ambitious Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager or Key Account Manager looking to step into a broader and more strategic position where they can have a direct influence on business performance, customer growth and channel development.
The Opportunity
Working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for managing a network of key partner accounts, developing strategic growth plans and driving performance through a structured, data-led approach.
The role requires someone who enjoys working with numbers, analysing trends, identifying opportunities and translating insight into commercial action.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
