Are you an experienced sales leader with a track record of growing accounts and building relationships with contractors, developers and housebuilders?
We’re looking for a commercially focused National Account Manager to lead the Skyline sales team and drive business growth across the high-rise residential development market.
Combining team leadership, key account management and new business development, this role offers the opportunity to shape sales performance, strengthen relationships with major customers and develop new opportunities nationwide.
You’ll lead a team of three direct reports, working closely with project management and installation colleagues to ensure we deliver on our commitments from initial enquiry through to project completion.
The role
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading, coaching and developing the Skyline National Account sales team, setting clear priorities and supporting individual and team performance.
- Delivering agreed sales budgets and growth targets while protecting profitability through effective pricing and negotiation.
- Maximising opportunities within existing accounts and winning new business with key contractors, developers and housebuilders.
- Building relationships with decision-makers, including architects, specifiers, buyers, site and project managers, senior managers and directors.
- Developing a strong sales pipeline and providing accurate forecasts, regular reports and up-to-date account information.
- Delivering high standards of customer service, working closely with project management and installation teams to meet client expectations and agreed deadlines.
- Working with Credit Control to manage aged debt and resolve account issues.
- Arranging and hosting customer visits to our Marketing Suite and Assembly facility.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of our product range, terms of trading, competitors and market opportunities.

What we’re looking for
You’ll be an accomplished sales professional who can lead by example, develop a team and build lasting commercial relationships.
You Will Bring
- Experience selling into fast-track construction projects, working with housebuilders, contractors or developers, ideally within the kitchen, bathroom or bedroom industry.
- Proven experience managing and motivating a sales team.
- A track record of growing existing accounts, developing new business and achieving sales targets.
- Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to negotiate effectively and balance sales growth with profitability.
- Confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including accurate reporting, forecasting and account management.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays when required.

Location and travel
This is a national role. You’ll need to live within easy travelling distance of Barnsley to attend regular meetings, with good motorway access for customer visits across the UK.
