National Account Manager
Salary: £50,000-£65,000 + bonus + car allowance
Location: Hybrid Greater Manchester
An established and growing consumer products business is looking for a commercially driven National Account Manager to join its team.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of key retail accounts, strengthen customer relationships and identify new opportunities for growth. You'll work closely with internal teams to deliver compelling customer proposals and profitable commercial plans.
The Role
- Manage and develop relationships with national retail accounts.
- Build account plans that deliver sales growth and profitability.
- Identify and win new business opportunities.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, and trading terms.
- Work with internal teams to coordinate customer activity and deliver excellent service.
- Monitor account performance, maintain accurate forecasts, and respond to market opportunities.

About You
To succeed as a National Account Manager, you'll bring:
- Experience in national account management within consumer products or a similar retail-focused business.
- A track record of growing accounts and delivering commercial results.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Confidence working with sales data, forecasts, and margins.
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
