Job Title: National Account Manager – Co-op

Location: Hemel Hempstead – Remote Job Length: Permanent Working Hours: Monday – Friday (full-time)

### About the Role

The National Account Manager – Co-op Softs is a commercial role within the Co-op Team. You’ll work alongside the Senior National Account Manager (Co-op Softs) to develop strategic and tactical plans for Co-op’s stills and IC (inside-choice) portfolio. Key objectives include meeting financial targets, ensuring distribution and execution, and driving share growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee customer-specific strategic plans for Co-op stills & IC, in alignment with the Managed Convenience 9 Box Grid.
  • Drive growth by tailoring annual plans for channel financial goals and brand execution.
  • Managing support activities, including:
    • Promotional submissions
    • New Line Items (NLFs)
    • Feature tracking
    • Compliance across the full CBBV softs portfolio
  • Representing Carlsberg Britvic in external stakeholder engagements (e.g., with Co-op’s Category Manager and Commercial Buying Analyst).
  • Supporting the Senior National Account Manager in negotiating and implementing an effective Joint Business Plan (JBP).
  • Ensuring WAMOC (Winning at Moments of Choice) plan is delivered across stills & IC portfolios.
  • Handling necessary cost price increases, collaborating on modelling necessary plans.
  • Forecasting and aligning with Customer Supply Chain to improve total business plan accuracy and Xtel/Promax inputs.

Additional Focus Areas:

  • Track performance of assigned accounts and implement corrective measures, fostering dynamical cross-functional collaboration to enhance forecourt channel performance.
  • Assist in delivering P&L management for Co-op softs portfolio across stills and IC.
  • Administer budgets for fleet accounts to ensure ROI optimisation.
  • Utilise recognised CRM tools (Xtel, Promax, Anaplan, etc.) for processing and tracking.

### Required Key Attributes & Experience

  • Strong commercial acumen for developing tailored account plans.
  • P&L management experience, including volume and profit forecasting.
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasive selling skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, for both oral and written interactions.
  • High attention to detail for process-driven responsibilities.
  • Aptitude for influencing change with a productive ability to handle constructive criticism.
  • Skilled in priority management, planning and time allocation.
