NAOS UK & Ireland is looking for a National Account Manager E-retail & Premium, based in London.
MAIN ROLE
The National Account Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day account management, P&L, and be the expert across our E-retail & Premium retail Accounts in the UK business, reporting to the Commercial Director. Working on Bioderma and Institut Esthederm. Key customers include: Space NK, Look Fantastic, ASOS, Sephora, Escentual. You will be the voice of the customer and take a category first, data driven approach to enable customers to flourish and our brands to grow ahead of the market. As a NAM you will partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., brands, finance, supply, training, digital) to help maximize the online experience and grow the business for NAOS brands. This position requires negotiation and communication skills when dealing with stakeholders internal and external.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the voice of the customer and category first, to enable accounts to flourish and our brands to grow ahead of the market
- Build a strong partnership with customers
- Full customer management: Turnover & profit, joint business plans, promo, media, campaign, PO delivery, customer service – complaints, issues, demand planning
- Overachieve weekly, monthly sales target per brand, range, SKUs and campaigns
- Plan and execute online activation in line with NAOS and customer guidelines, master brand plans as well as global and strategy guideline
- Work cross functionally and establish efficient ways of working with brands, finance, supply, training, digital
- Account Management of our main retailers and reviewing any new business opportunity
- Coach and train local team on customer developments and trends

SKILLS
STRATEGY
- Experience in negotiation and P&L management
- Experience in online activation
- Experienced in setting out the strategy and execution of various projects – large and small
- Ability to translate brand strategy into a customer category and trade plans
COMMUNICATION
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent quality of written and spoken English
- Leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent presentation skills
OPERATIONAL
- Experience in leading, directing and executing various projects internally and externally
- Ability to work with deadlines and restricted budget
- Minimum 2 years experience as a NAM in managing key online retailers & Premium retail
- Specific Space NK & Look Fantastic experience is required
- Experience in building and managing JBPs with customers
- Tracking and reporting against KPI’s
- Analyze and compute weekly sell-out reports
- Plan weekly calls and monthly meetings with all your accounts
- Use industry tools, internal and retailer data to provide analysis, ROI and insights to the brand
- Ensure clear forecasting and budgeting, trending and reporting for key accounts, flagging weekly risks and opportunities to Management

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years minimum experience working in a similar position for a beauty brand as a NAM. Experience in Category Development or working closely with category management whilst an account manager preferable
- Experience with B2B Online Sales and Digital Marketing, you have implemented strategies that drove online sales of your retailers
- You have a proven record of successful negotiations with large FMCG retailers
- B2C experience and deep understanding of B2C transactions, customer journey, purchase journey, checkout
- Understanding of promotions rebates, commercial cycles, and merchandising
- Analytical and data-driven; you love using stats and numbers to make decisions and prove your point
- Positive team-player who thrives on challenges, the opportunity to help your teammates to problem-solve, and have the mindset that no job is too small
- A planner and highly organized and able to be agile and priorities
