National Account Manager
Food & Beverage Distribution | London, UK (Hybrid/Field-based, national travel)
About Our Client
Our client is a London-based food distributor specialising in health-focused products — including oils, protein bars, and yogurts — sourced from over 85 countries worldwide. They supply an extensive network of retailers across the UK, with a strong presence in independent and value-focused shops, backed by 5 warehouses and a 350,000m² manufacturing and packaging facility. They are solely focused on food distribution, giving them deep expertise and a sharp focus on quality, reliability, and value across their supply chain.
The Role
Our client is looking for a commercially astute National Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of key accounts across the UK — including retail groups, wholesalers, and buying groups within the independent and value retail sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full commercial relationship: negotiating terms, securing listings, driving volume, and acting as the senior point of contact for these accounts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
