National Account Manager – Grocery & Convenience

Are you an FMCG National Account Manager who knows the UK Grocery & Convenience market and wants the opportunity to genuinely make your mark?

I'm partnering with a fast-growing global omnichannel business that is continuing to invest in its UK retail proposition and is looking for an experienced National Account Manager to play a key role in driving its next phase of growth.

This isn't simply an account maintenance role. You'll have the opportunity to grow existing partnerships, open new doors and build long-term commercial relationships across the Grocery Multiples and Convenience channel.

The role

You'll take ownership of key retail relationships and be responsible for:

  • Managing and growing Grocery and Convenience accounts
  • Developing strong relationships with buyers and key commercial stakeholders
  • Identifying new customers, opportunities and routes for growth
  • Leading commercial negotiations and developing mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Driving revenue, distribution and profitability across your accounts
  • Building and executing account plans and identifying opportunities to increase market presence
  • Working closely with the wider business to support ambitious UK growth plans

What we're looking for

We're keen to speak with commercially driven FMCG sales professionals who have:

  • Proven National Account Management experience within FMCG
  • Strong exposure to UK Grocery Multiples and/or Convenience
  • Experience managing and developing retailer relationships
  • Strong negotiation, commercial and relationship-building skills
  • The confidence to identify opportunities, open doors and drive new business
  • Existing relationships within UK retail buying teams would be a real advantage
