National Account Manager - Grocery & Mass Retail
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Have you successfully grown business with retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, Costco, B&M or The Range?
If you know how to build profitable retail partnerships, negotiate commercial agreements and identify opportunities for growth, we'd love to hear from you.
We're recruiting on behalf of a highly successful, privately-owned business with an outstanding reputation for introducing and growing internationally recognised consumer brands within the UK market. Their Mass Brands division manages a multi-million-pound portfolio with forecast growth of approximately 35% over the coming years, creating an exciting opportunity for an ambitious National Account Manager to play a key role in the next stage of their success.
The portfolio includes a number of well-known beauty and personal care brands sold through many of the UK's leading grocery, high street and mass retail customers. However, we're far more interested in your experience managing major retail accounts than the specific products you've sold.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
