About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager – Ice Cream to join our UK&I Sales team, playing a key role in accelerating the growth of Ferrero’s Ice Cream portfolio.

In this role, you will take ownership of key customer relationships and be responsible for developing and delivering commercial plans that drive sustainable growth across the Ice Cream category. Working within a fast-paced and highly seasonal market, you will use your understanding of customers, shoppers and the category to identify opportunities and translate them into strong commercial plans.

You will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Category, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, ensuring we bring together customer strategy, brand ambition and operational execution to deliver both short and long-term objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • You will own and develop strong relationships with key customers, building credible partnerships and becoming a trusted commercial contact for the Ice Cream category.
  • You will develop and execute customer plans aligned to Ferrero’s commercial and brand strategies, identifying opportunities to drive distribution, availability, visibility and profitable growth.
  • You will take responsibility for customer performance, including volume, revenue, profitability, forecasting and promotional investment, using commercial data and insight to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • A key part of the role will be leading customer negotiations, including annual plans, pricing, promotions, range and wider commercial agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes while protecting Ferrero’s commercial objectives.
  • You will use your knowledge of the Ice Cream and frozen category to understand customer and shopper dynamics, seasonality, promotional effectiveness and emerging opportunities.
  • Working cross-functionally, you will collaborate with Marketing, Category, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to develop compelling customer propositions and ensure excellent execution.
  • You will proactively identify risks and opportunities within your accounts, responding quickly to changing customer, competitor and market conditions and adapting plans where required.

About You

  • You will bring strong National Account Management or senior customer management experience within FMCG, with relevant experience of the Ice Cream/frozen category within grocery, wholesale or a comparable retail environment.
  • You will have a strong understanding of the UK retail landscape and be comfortable managing complex customer relationships, commercial negotiations and joint business planning.
  • Commercially astute, you will be confident working with P&L, pricing, promotions, forecasting and customer investment, using data and insight to make well-informed decisions.
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience of identifying growth opportunities and translating them into clear customer plans, balancing short-term delivery with longer-term strategic objectives.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills are essential, alongside the ability to build relationships across multiple levels both internally and externally.
  • You will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving, seasonal category, demonstrating agility and the ability to adapt plans when circumstances change.
  • Above all, you will bring a proactive and collaborative approach, with the curiosity and commercial mindset to challenge existing thinking and identify new opportunities for Ferrero’s Ice Cream portfolio.
