About the Role
A fast-growing, premium drinks brand with an exciting presence across the UK is looking to appoint an experienced National Account Manager to lead its commercial growth across the On Trade, Off Trade and Online channels.
With an established presence across some of the UK's most prestigious hospitality venues and retailers, the brand is entering an exciting period of growth, with ambitious plans to expand its UK distribution and launch into additional international markets.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven drinks professional who enjoys working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment and wants to play a key role in scaling an exciting challenger brand.
Responsibilities:
- Owning the day-to-day delivery of the UK commercial plan, working closely with the Managing Director to achieve sales, distribution and growth targets.
- Driving new listings and managing existing accounts across the On Trade, including bars, restaurants, hotels and members' clubs.
- Developing the Off Trade and Online channels, including independent retailers, specialist accounts, national accounts and ecommerce platforms.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, buyers, distributors and key trade partners.
- Identifying new commercial opportunities and proactively driving distribution and volume growth across the UK.
- Planning and executing trade marketing activity, in-venue activations, events, sponsorships and brand initiatives.
- Ensuring strong merchandising, visibility, point-of-sale and staff training across key accounts.
- Tracking sales, distribution and account-level KPIs, providing regular commercial reporting and market insight.
- Managing commercial spend within agreed budgets and monitoring trade investment and promotional activity.
- Coordinating closely with internal team members and external agency partners to ensure consistent execution across the UK market.

About You
- Proven experience in a senior sales or commercial role within Beverage Alcohol, Spirits or a related FMCG category.
- Strong knowledge of the UK On Trade, with an established network of relevant customer and industry contacts.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within the Beverage Alcohol category, with strong understanding of route-to-market, trade relationships and seasonality.
- Experience managing both On and Off Trade accounts, with a demonstrable track record of driving distribution and commercial growth.
- Experience within an entrepreneurial, early-stage or growth-stage brand, with the ability to operate in a hands-on environment and take ownership.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, build relationships and convert them into tangible sales results.
- Confident working across digital and ecommerce channels, including retailer platforms and Amazon.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively with customers, agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable representing a premium brand at trade tastings, events and customer meetings.
