Our client is a growing, family-run business based in Carnforth, with a simple ambition, to deliver an exceptional customer experience through the supply of creative materials and equipment to educational establishments.

They work with customers across the UK, combining an extensive product range with a genuinely personal, relationship-led approach.

They are now entering an exciting new phase of growth, and they are looking for an exceptional Account Manager to help them unlock the full potential of their existing customer base.

Please note, you will be on the road across the country 2-3 days per week, and in their offices in Carnforth the rest of the time.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Build strong, long-term relationships through regular and meaningful contact
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer spend, product range and engagement
  • Analyse account activity to identify growth opportunities and potential risks
  • Re-engage customers who have reduced, paused or stopped ordering
  • Use customer data and insight to understand behaviour and inform your approach
  • Develop tailored account strategies using calls, emails, customer visits, samples and campaigns

  • Respond quickly and creatively to changes in the market

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
