Job Title: National Account Manager – LWC

Location: Field Based – Regional Northern (travel expected to our head office and other Carlsberg Britvic sites where needed)

Job Length: Permanent – Full Time

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As the Dynamic, Multi-Beverage Powerhouse, we are united by a single, consistent goal: ensuring our people thrive.


About the role:

We are now recruiting for a National Account Manager – LWC. This role is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to gain some incredible experience building their career as an Account Manager.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own customer-specific sales strategies that drive revenue, growth, and market share.
  • Build and deliver tactical plans with cross-functional teams to hit commercial targets.
  • Lead outlet-level execution and negotiate winning solutions with customers.
  • Deliver flawless point-of-purchase activation and manage dynamic activity calendars.
  • Own price change implementation—preparing, communicating, and handling objections confidently.
  • Partner with Logistics to forecast volumes accurately and support wider business planning.
  • Grow accounts through a strong contact strategy that uncovers new opportunities.
  • Run high-impact customer meetings and coach your team to deliver the same standard.
  • Track performance proactively, course-correct fast, and drive collaborative ways of working.
  • Gain insight in-outlet—assessing execution, coaching teams, and ensuring plans land brilliantly.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and within an FMCG business is preferred.
  • Inspiring, influential communicator with strong commercial acumen.
  • Skilled in building compelling propositions and converting them into actionable account and execution plans.
  • Confident managing P&L, forecasting volume and profit, and analysing performance.
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective influencer who can both challenge and be challenged constructively.
  • Highly organised with excellent planning and time-management skills.
  • Experienced in managing trade investment budgets.
  • Category development experience (desirable).
