National Account Manager
West Yorkshire.
£40,000 – £45,000 + car allowance + bonus
An established and fast-growing recruitment business is looking for a hands-on National Account Manager to take ownership of a major, national logistics contract and drive its next stage of growth.
This is a working role, not a purely strategic one. You will fill bookings, manage suppliers, get out to client sites and lead the contract team from the West Yorkshire office. For a commercially driven operator, the revenue on this account is considerable.

The role
- Take full ownership of a key national account, based at the West Yorkshire office.
- Fill bookings and keep day-to-day fulfilment running to a high standard.
- Manage second-tier suppliers and hold them to agreed service levels.
- Visit client sites regularly and build strong relationships at every level.
- Grow revenue within the account, including expansion into further driver categories.
- Oversee the existing contract team and grow headcount as the account develops.
- Manage margins, with a clear target to substantially increase weekly gross profit.
Who this would suit
- An account manager or senior consultant from driver or logistics recruitment.
- Commercially driven and hands-on, comfortable running operations directly rather than from a distance.
- Experienced in managing second-tier suppliers on a national or multi-site account.
- Confident on client sites and happy to travel nationally.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- Looking for a new challenge from January 2027.
