Peter’s Yard is a growing sourdough bakery business that combines Swedish tradition with British craft and natural, quality ingredients to create its hand-baked sourdough crackers. The company was founded in 2008, acquired in 2022 by Lotus Bakeries and is now listed in Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Ocado, Booths, Wholefoods and 3,000 independent farm shops and delis. The company has ambitious growth plans to expand the business and build the brand in the UK across Grocery outlets, food service, and speciality stores.

Peter’s Yard are looking for an Out-of-Home National Account Manager to join their high-performing team and help drive and deliver their next stage of growth. Responsible for key major multiple accounts you will report into the sales lead on the Peter’s Yard business.
To devise & deliver exceptional business plans with key Foodservice and Specialist customers, ensuring sales of our products are maximized at key trading periods.
- Win new business through the channel with Wholesalers and End-users that showcase the exceptional quality and premium positioning of the Peter’s Yard brand and support the push-pull strategy
- Own and manage P&L and forecasting of assigned accounts and deliver value, volume, and GP% metrics
- Build unrivalled cross-functional relationships with key customer contacts across buying, supply chain, category, & format teams
- Work with the Category Manager to deliver killer insights that drive significant business benefit
- Deliver top-class visibility and penetration through bringing Peter’s Yard alive in the channel (e.g., POS, Online)
- Utilize customer systems to maximize our sales, including influencing availability, compliance, promotion management
Reporting into
Head of Sales, Peter’s Yard
You will likely be an existing National Account Manager with experience of working in the Foodservice & Specialist arena and able to hit the ground running.

- Right-To-Work within the UK (without sponsorship)
- Minimum Education to Bachelor's Degree level
- Strong experience in the channel and what is needed to support growth
- Results driven – you can show examples of strong, tangible business results that you have led personally in customer
- Resilience and tenacity – obstacles don’t hold you back, and you work effectively when faced with a tough buyer or tricky negotiation
- Analytical – you are all over the data and can bring new and relevant insights on your accounts
- Great relationship builder – you are personable and have a collaborative attitude to working with the buyer, getting the result we need for Peter’s Yard but in a responsible and natural manner
A couple of things that are not essential but would be nice to have:
- A bit of a “Foodie”
- Online and Digital sales experience
