National Account Manager – Grocery

St Albans – 4 days per week in-office

Competitive salary + bonus + benefits

I’m working with Lotus Bakeries to recruit a National Account Manager for BEAR, one of the UK’s leading kids’ healthier snacking brands.

BEAR is a brilliant brand with strong heritage in the category. The core product, Yo-Yos, is aimed at 4–8 year olds, made from 100% fruit, and counts as 1 of your 5 a day. It’s a healthier snack that parents understand, and the brand is now going through a relaunch to bring more energy, personality and visibility back into the fixture.

The business is aiming for 10% YoY growth and is on track this year. They’re already winning in some key customers, with real opportunity still to unlock across other major retailers.

This role will manage key Grocery accounts across the BEAR portfolio. The team is open on background and experience level, this could suit an existing NAM or a strong KAM/NAE ready to step up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow Grocery customers for BEAR
  • Build customer plans focused on distribution, visibility, ROS and profitable growth
  • Support JBPs, range reviews, promotional planning and forecasting
  • Work with buyers to unlock feature space and key activation moments
  • Support the BEAR relaunch across customer plans and in-store activity
  • Track account performance and identify opportunities to improve
  • Work closely with Category, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance
  • Get close to the customer detail and build strong buyer relationships

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
