National Account Manager - QSR

Up to £65,000 + Car + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Home-based with occasional travel

Our client is a leading international food and dairy manufacturer supplying a broad range of customers across retail, foodservice, QSR and industrial channels. With a significant UK presence and continued investment in innovation, manufacturing capability and commercial talent, the business is experiencing sustained growth and is seeking a commercially driven National Account Manager to support the development of its expanding QSR channel.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible commercial role within a growing National Accounts team, focused on developing strategic partnerships across the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), coffee shop and food-to-go sectors.

  • Inherit an established portfolio of national customers.
  • Play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across Category, Marketing, NPD and Operations.
  • Help deliver commercially successful solutions that support customer growth ambitions.

The role offers significant autonomy and genuine scope to influence the direction of a strategically important channel within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with major national QSR and foodservice accounts.
  • Deliver sustainable sales growth across existing customer partnerships.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within the QSR, coffee shop and food-to-go sectors.
  • Lead customer tenders and support commercial negotiations.
  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans with key customers.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, NPD, Category and Operations teams to bring innovative product solutions to market.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer opportunities.
  • Build long-term strategic partnerships with key decision makers.

About You

We are seeking a commercially astute National Account Manager with experience gained within FMCG, foodservice or food manufacturing.

  • Proven experience managing national accounts and delivering profitable growth.
  • Exposure to QSR, hospitality, route-to-market or food-to-go channels.
  • A strong understanding of customer tenders, annual negotiations and Joint Business Planning.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to uncover and develop new opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen coupled with a collaborative approach.
