Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of sales and customer service for specified accounts, including but not limited to:

  • Experience in selling similar related character licensed products within nursery, toy, or gift categories.
  • Proven ability to nurture business, materially increase sales, and expand listings.
  • Bright and vibrant with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to forge excellent relationships.
  • Experience in selling to top-tier customers within retail, gifts, toy, and grocery sectors.
  • Enjoyment of managing accounts and business development.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small, friendly team.
  • Analytical skills for EPOS analysis and experience in delivering robust sales forecasts, by product, by line, by month.
  • Creation of strategic account plans.
  • Attending meetings to pitch for business, including trade shows at various points of the year, ensuring all customer appointments are secured with preparation completed for each meeting.
  • Preparation of quotes, working through costings for ranged products, specials, bespoke ranges, and FOB deals.
  • Negotiating trading terms.
  • Planning, costing, and pitching for promotions and other retail support activities.
  • Budget and account P&L responsibility.
  • Liaising with correct customer departments, including logistics, shipping, accounts, etc., to gather the correct operating procedures for each account.
  • Ensuring all internal departments are aware of the procedures for each customer to provide first-class service.
  • Developing bespoke product ranges for individual customers is essential.
  • Attending and contributing to regular sales, forecast, brand, and product development meetings.
  • Gathering forecasts and forward orders from customers and delivering expectations to the business in a timely manner.
  • Identifying and making contact with prospect accounts and successfully opening new business.
