Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the LG Home Solutions Sales Team as a National Account Manager – Built-In Products.

Reporting to the Head of National Accounts, you will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key retail partners, driving profitable sales growth across the Built-In appliance category, including Ovens, Hobs, Hoods, Dishwashers, Washing Machines and Built-In Refrigeration.

You will be accountable for delivering sales, profit and market share objectives through the development and execution of customer business plans, range strategies, promotional activity and new product introductions. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Finance, you will ensure LG continues to strengthen its position within the UK Built-In appliance market.

This is a commercial role requiring strong negotiation skills, category understanding and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Growth

  • Develop and implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned to LG's sales, profitability and market share objectives, with the aim of taking the Home Solutions category to a New Level, as we launch our built-in products into the UK and Ireland.
  • Deliver annual sales, profit and market share targets across assigned national accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to grow distribution, increase category penetration and accelerate sales through effective account development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders across Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Ecommerce and Senior Management functions.
  • Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers and represent LG at all levels within the account.

Range, Product & Category Management

  • Lead annual ranging and assortment reviews to maximise distribution and category performance.
  • Drive successful implementation of new product introductions (NPI), ensuring effective forecasting, launch planning and customer activation.
  • Analyse market, competitor and customer performance data to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Marketing teams to develop category growth strategies and customer-specific opportunities.
  • Utilise market data and customer insights to support range recommendations and category planning.

Commercial Management

  • Negotiate annual trading agreements, promotional activity, pricing, rebates and commercial terms in line with company objectives.
  • Manage investment budgets effectively to ensure maximum return on investment.
  • Deliver profitable growth through strong commercial discipline and financial management.
  • Monitor account performance against agreed KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.

Forecasting & Supply Chain

  • Deliver accurate demand forecasts to support inventory planning and service levels.
  • Work closely with Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability and effective stock management.
  • Proactively identify and resolve supply-related issues to minimise customer impact.
  • Support the management of customer inventory levels, stock turns and replenishment programmes.

Execution & Market Development

  • Develop customer-specific promotional strategies to drive sell-out performance.
  • Ensure excellence in product presentation, merchandising and online visibility across customer platforms.
  • Support customer training initiatives to improve product knowledge and advocacy.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and industry developments, sharing insights and recommendations with the wider business.
  • Provide regular business reviews and performance updates to management.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer priorities and business objectives.
  • Support wider Home Solutions initiatives and contribute to category and channel strategy development.
  • Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, customer agreements and performance reporting.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager, Key Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within Consumer Electronics, Domestic Appliances, Built-In Appliances, Kitchen Retail or FMCG sectors.
  • Degree educated or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing Built-In Appliance or Major Domestic Appliance (MDA) categories.
  • Knowledge of UK retail channels, kitchen specialists, buying groups and e-commerce partners.
  • Experience using retail sales data and category management tools such as GfK, Circana or retailer insight platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering sales growth and achieving commercial targets.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with experience managing large national customers.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
