Grocery National Account Manager

Location: London, 3 days a week
Salary: £50-60k + Bonus + Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing food business with a portfolio of well-known brands and strong ambitions for the Grocery channel. You’ll have genuine ownership of your customers, exposure across multiple brands and the opportunity to make a visible impact on both customer and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop relationships with key Grocery customers, acting as the main commercial contact.
  • Deliver sales, revenue, margin and profitability targets across your accounts.
  • Develop and execute customer strategies and JPBs aligned to wider business objectives.
  • Lead customer negotiations across pricing, promotions, ranging and annual terms.
  • Identify opportunities to grow distribution, improve rate of sale and expand the product portfolio.
  • Work closely with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to deliver customer plans.
  • Use customer, category and market insight to build compelling commercial propositions.
  • Manage promotional plans, forecasts and account P&Ls, ensuring strong commercial discipline.
  • Build strong relationships with buyers and wider customer stakeholders, becoming a trusted commercial partner.
  • Monitor account performance and take proactive action to maximise growth opportunities.

About You

  • Proven experience in National Account Management ideally within food or drink.
  • Experience managing or supporting major UK Grocery customers.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with confidence managing customer P&Ls and JBPs.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn insight into commercial action.
  • Ambitious, proactive and motivated by delivering growth.
